Unveiling Creativity:
My Journey as an Artist Through the Years
My name is Rica, born in 1989. At the age of 34, my internal clock started ticking. So I thought to myself, if not now, then when?

Looking back, every moment in my life, every positive and negative experience, every right decision and every mistake, has prepared me for this moment. Much of what I've ever learned, I can now incorporate. Everything converges here now, where you, dear viewer, can determine whether I succeed.
​
Because, dear reader, art is a matter of taste. Success is not decided by the artist, who can only create, but by the observer.
​
As a child, I always drew and painted, and my parents always encouraged it. I excelled in art class, but unfortunately, I couldn't connect much with the school system itself. Nevertheless, I persevered until I obtained my high school diploma.
​
After school, I had time to nurture my drawing talent alongside a part-time job. In those years, I learned the most. Through detours, I joined the environmental charity organization "ISF" (Ian Somerhalder Foundation), for which I created many drawings that you can still admire in my gallery today. My life was exciting; I traveled to America, learned to speak English fluently, and had contacts worldwide. But I hadn't found my dream job yet, and the desire for financial independence led me to the next phase of life.

With my talent for graphics and design, my professional path was clear, and I was fortunate to get an apprenticeship in an advertising agency precisely because of my drawing talent. Today, I have been self-employed with my own advertising agency, werbegrafikerin.at, since 2017. I am incredibly grateful that I have the luck to do professionally what I like and love.
​
I got married, and together we have been through tough times over the last 10 years, but it has brought us closer. I didn't have much space to be creative during these years, so I reluctantly put my "hobby" on hold, except for a few exceptions.
​
Today, I stand here, stronger than ever and grown from my experiences, telling myself that this year, my stars are aligned correctly. The result, dear reader, you see on this page. My creative drive has grown immensely over the years, and finally, I have the space and inner peace to unfold.
